Wastrel or "wasting my time"?

So, do you think I should enter this guy in the painting competition at Kublacon today?

Cheers
Dave

    1. I had a couple of other single models I brought that could've gone in. This guy is my first non-GW, non-historical model to go into a comp, so I'm kind of stepping outside my comfort zone.

  4. You should - The paintjob is awesome.
I really like you high lights, and the way the light falls on the suit.

As always - a really nice job mate :)

  5. It gets my vote, the painting is superb. What scale is the figure Dave?

    1. Hi Pat, it's one of the Malifaux plastics, which are ostensibly 30mm, although there's a little bit of variation in the sizing. Once I have the "League of Extraordinary Gentlemen Capt Nemo analog" painted you'll be able to see the variances.

  9. Looks like he's waiting to listen to some Ludwig Van and then may-ay-be some ultra-violence!

  10. Well thanks for all your positive thoughts. He was the favorite of my pieces amongst the judges, and I took away a silver in the Masterclass category. Pleased with that and looking forward to bringing something back next year.

  11. I have liked it very much, especially the range of colors, the position of the miniature and end of the wood of the pedestal.

A good work Dave, I believe that to leave of the daily thing is good.

    Regards.
