+++Primaris Secutar enroute to Lombard III+++

Primaris Secutar, my Reaver Titan from Legio Crucius, is now battle-ready. In fact, as I type this she is probably somewhere in western Pennsylvania, on her way to walk on the hallowed battlegrounds of AdeptiCon.

Time slipped away from me at the end there, and I was unable to do all the shading, chipping, and weathering I wanted to do. A little disappointing, but I will be able to really spend some time on her once she returns to Baltimore (and before the big 30K event at the end of May).

And thank you to Forgeworld for this wonderful image that inspired/informed much of my paint job. Originally I was going to give her kill marking banners, but I thought it might be best to simply record her achievements from the games she fights in, starting with Saturday night's AdeptiCon Titanicus extravaganza : )

Cheers
Dave

    1. Hi Steve,
Somewhere in Baltimore. It was going to be the GW Battle Bunker but they've made it a one-man store now, so there's a search on for a new location. I think it's going to be a 3-game tourney on the Saturday and a massive Apocalypse bash on the Sunday.

  3. She looks gorgeous Dave. I'd be proud to put her on a table as is. Weathering will only make it better.

So tell us more about this big 30k event at end of May? You May (har har) have just altered by painting schedule.

Good luck at adepticon! I hope your have great opponents and fun games.

    2. I should have mentioned this in my comment, bu the metal discoloration rings on the legs are really impressive.

    1. Thanks Snake, there are quite a few colors that work well if thinned down. I think this one was GW's Sybarite Green, but the Vallejo Model Color Blue Green is nice too (although a little darker). Hope that helps.
