WarGamesCon is VERY nigh!

By this time tomorrow I'll be frantically pacing a small room (somewhere in Austin, TX), making sure my presentations are ready and that I have all the handouts and giveaways sorted, and generally wondering how I'll screw up my first true "hobby teaching" test. If I'm lucky, I'll have had a Texas-shaped waffle for breakfast - to calm my nerves of course.

If I get a chance I'll post a post or two from the show. I know the guys running the show are looking to grow the event to mammoth proportions, not to rival Adepticon, but to complement it as another jewel in the crown of indy events. I'm all for that.

Until next we speak I thought I'd show you a piece that I'm working on for a friend's upcoming Apocalypse extravaganza.

Three Bastions, one Shrine of the Aquilla, one Citadel hill, and three weapons from Quantum Gothic in the UK.

Cheers
Dave

  1. Hey Dave, I hope you have a great time down in Texas. I was wondering if you could maybe put up your tutorials on your website or ask someone at the Con to film it and post it online. I would love to see your green stuff presentation but I cannot make it down to Texas at the time =(
    Thanks!

  2. Dave, no need to be nervous. You'll do great. Your pre-heresy clinic was great at GW White Marsh and this will be great as well. Some tips or something posted on here would be awesome as well, for those of us that can't make it to Austin. Have a safe trip!

  5. I had a blast in the narrative, and it was great to meet you in person! I hope to make it up to Games Day and see what the painters have gotten up to.

  6. Hi guys

Thanks for the support and kind words.

@Kais10 & Steevo - I won't put up the greenstuff tutorial as it really belongs to Joe Orteza and Chris Borer. I think Joe runs the class at both Adepticon and GenCon too. I will, however, be putting up the painting theory one.

@Eric - great to meet you, glad you enjoyed the seminars, sorry we blew up a titan on you ass! : )

@BDub - great to meet you Billy, I'm sure we'll chat again.

@Faultie - great to meet you Andrew, those Kroot were great! Nice work on destroying the Thunderhawk too : )

    Cheers
    Dave
