BLOOD RAGE! - The Vikings

It hasn't been all "massive Warlord Titans" around here. I recently finished off a commission that saw me painting the entire Blood Rage set (all the add-ons and freebies etc). I painted in batches during February and early March in order to keep things chugging along and to keep each clan looking fairly cohesive.

First up is the Wildboar clan (above).

The Ram clan.

The Wolf clan.

The Bear clan.

The Raven clan.

And the Serpent clan.

Next up I'll finish off with the Gods and Monsters : )

WARLORD - Part 18 - Starting to paint the base!

Some more painting on the Warlord. Despite my cold/cough, I forged ahead and laid down some paint on the base and did some more detail work on the torso, including painting the rear and adding some plates.

Very exciting stuff!

WARLORD - Part 17, More Painterly!

Another week, another update (although I expect there'll be two next week).

This time I've painted about 70% of the torso, and it is really starting to come together : )

I hope you enjoy.

KICKSTARTER - Awaken Realms resin terrain

Yesterday a package arrived from Awaken Realms, a painting studio out of Eastern Europe that is now expanding into resin terrain. They are currently running a Kickstarter for their new range of objectives, totems, portals, and barricades. You can check it out HERE!

It all looks very cool. The resin is light and sturdy, with crisp details and not a lot of flash.

WARLORD - Part 16 - The legs are almost finished!

Hi everyone!

Apologies for the delay in this video, I recently spent a week in Northern Ireland with the Beasts of War crew, filming loads of videos for Coll Mini or Not's game Dark Age (but more on that in a future post).

Anyway, progress has been made and once I have the torso painted (next week), I'll be in a really good spot (I hope). I should have those Fallout Hobbies stencils soon and then I can really get into the nitty gritty of the painting : )

It has been a while since he Titan has claimed any of my blood, but I figured I should show you these scratches, acquired while I was painting the legs. It turns out that the resin sandbags on the base have some sharp corners to them. Of course, two scratches means I wasn't too careful after the first time : )

Have a great weekend!

Cheers
