Horus Heresy - The Man himself!

Sorry I haven't posted up the lastfew models from my Death Guard project, but I was busy working on this guy over the weekend. He's a new commission build - Horus Lupercal - based on the great artwork originally from the Horus Heresy card game.

Anyway, I hope you like this guy.

Cheers
Dave

  2. Looks good, my only complaint is his left arm looks uncomfortably straight.

    1. It's a little straighter than I'd like, but I'm not sure it's uncomfortably so ; )

  3. Looks like he's waving at me. "hey buddy, could you help me with this?"
    Sorry, couldn't help myself.

  4. Captures the pose from the art very well, but I'm not sure it has the same effect out of context. I'd suggest you continue on and do the whole scene ;)

  8. Lovely job translating the artwork in to 3D; however, Horus always looks like a Punch & Judy Man to me.

  9. He looks awesome! I've been tempted a thousand times over to sculpt my own, but I know the FW one in the works will be better than what I could do. So i'll just wait :P

But you's is awesome, I always loved your Abbaddon conversion too!

    1. After hearing about FW doing him after Lorgar, I offered the client a chance out of the commission. He quickly declined that offer and said full speed ahead. I'm no Simon Egan, and his will kick mine's ass, but it was nice to get to do him (again) before FW releases theirs.

  12. Wow, what an incredible piece of art! The level of detail and craftsmanship is truly impressive. The colors are vibrant, the pose is dynamic, and the overall design is inspired. social media promotion agency gwalior
