Horus Heresy - I'll just leave this here...



Still busy times here in the Taylor household, but hopefully things will calm down in the new year.

Now that my client has his Horus conversion in hand, I can reveal the paintjob. I hope you like it.

  6. Fantastic work as always Dave! How do you paint your black to look so good? From the pictures it looks like it has some grey and metallic tones to it.

    1. Hi CJ, thanks for the comment. Do you mean his larger armor plates? If so, they look like they have metallics in them because they're actually very dark silver. I do start with a mix of a mid-silver and a dark grey (Vallejo German Grey), then wash with a few different colors to add extra tone and depth.
