The Artillery Train of Nuln (Part 8)

With the store heat only days away I managed to snap a quick shot of the Artillery Train of Nuln as it stands today. Not long now, just three character models, a bunch of flocking, and some touching up of the bases before it hits the table at GW White Marsh. Be there on Saturday around 5pm to cast your vote in the final judging.

May the best army walk away with the prize!

Cheers
Dave

The whole thing looks beautiful. I am quite confident you will walk away with the title and the win. Maybe I will stop in to lend you a vote and some support.

  5. Dave, I would like to congratulate you for this fantastic army.
I'm not a WFB player, but I can recognize a wonderful army when I see one!

I really love your tray too, sober and meaningful.

  7. Thanks for the kind words everyone. I feel I'll be bringing my A game, it just remains to see who else will too.

@Hendrid - the Knights (and Pistoliers) are snagged from my Ostland army. Their heads are the stock Knight heads with Beastman heads added to the tops (as trophies). I think if I'd had more time would have built some Knights of the Blazing Sun for the army.

  8. Hey Dave! That shot of your artillery train's really awesome, I do like it a lot. Though that's a lot of minis, one still can see how much attention you gave all the details etc.

Great work and I wish you luck for the competition!

  10. Wow. That looks incredible.

May I ask were you got the tile from for the steps? I use those bases too and I've been hunting high and low for the tiles to make a display base for my demons.

    Superb work as always.
