And back to the Knights of Morr (plus post 300!)

Well I was able to finish up the Knights late last week, ahead of a crazy weekend filled with parties, BBQs, pools, deck-staining, and the slightest bit of sleeping. Above (and below) you can see the Knights with their shields in place. I'm very happy with how they look.

And the winner is... Thanks to Bucky for his comment on a previous post regarding a possible phrase to go on the banner for my Knights of Morr. The phrase chosen was "Deficit Omne Quod Nasciture" - Everything that is born passes away. Although I now realize I spelled deficit incorrectly. I'll fix that up this week.

Next up on the cavalry front? This guy : )

Cheers
Dave

PS. This is apparently my 300th post, woohoo!

  3. Are they called the Knights of Morr because everyone wants to see MORR!!!!
Great job on them. The purples came out great, and the lettering is great! Will be quite the force once finished!

  9. Doing Morr knights on my own using Chaos Horses, have just completed three of them so far though. But these Knights really wants me to get up in the saddle again and finish them, crazy nice looking unit. Really like the how you have painted them as well with the black and purple, great stuff!

  10. Great models. They have a very unique and distinctive look while at the same time being recognisably 'Empire'. Initially I thought they might end up looking too much like Chaos knights but now I see the finished product I realise that such fears were unfounded.

I'm looking forward to seeing how this army progresses.

  11. Great looking models! By the way, did you know that defecit, as you have mispelled in the banner, means "failed" in Latin;)

    2. But it could also be a slightly corrupted subjunctive of defecare - which would make it very true as well. Although a bit too nurgly perhaps ... ;)

      Amesome painting btw!
