Over the last few days I managed to get some paint on my Marienburg-class Empire Landship hull. I'm pretty happy with how things are going, and I certainly enjoyed the barnacles at the bottom of the hull.
Looking really good! I especially like the brass on the stern and the wood effect. I'll echo Craig, what colors did you use on that wood, if you don't mind sharing? Can't wait to see the model all assembled!
So glad you are doing this, ever since I saw the pre-release model at the FW Open Day (or was it GD?) I have loved the idea of it. Suits the world of Warhammer so well.
Loving how it is coming together, especially the barnacles.
Good lord, man! I think you're taking this whole Empire thing too seriously.
ReplyDeleteBrilliant work, as ever.
I would like to know how they did. A great job.
ReplyDeleteOMG you did an amazing job on the hull! (the red zones on the gauges was a nice touch as well)
ReplyDeleteThat really makes me want one. Damn you Dave Taylor... damn you.

ReplyDeleteHi guys
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comments, I'll be putting up a more detailed post, including recipes for the colors, next week once I complete it all : )
