Not long now and my first two Knights will be complete. Just some chipping and then weathering powders to go on my Knights of House Taranis, sporting the 30K version of their iconography/heraldry. The Cerastus Knight-Lancer is above, while the Knight-Paladin is below.
Have a great weekend, everyone!
Cheers
Dave

DeleteAll Hail the Omnissiah! Great stuff Dave.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Damon!
DeleteHow you ever find time to do your own stuff in between work and commissions (and a family!), I'll never fathom.
ReplyDeleteWhen only sleep is left, you just carve a few hours out from that ; )
DeleteNice one Dave! I love your smooth and clean painting style!
ReplyDeleteGreat work on the shoulders and shins removing the spear and replacing it with the cog-teeth. Fantastic!
ReplyDeleteThanks, you might be the first to notice ; )
DeleteQuick question. How did you do the faceplate for the paladin? Did you just smooth out, and fill in the visor area on the helmet, or were there other steps to making it a smooth surface like that>
ReplyDeleteYep, it was carving down some of the trim, and then filling the rest with putty. Here's a link to the post where I showed the unpainted version:
