Off to Austin, TX!

Just a quick post to show you all there has been progress on the display (and other elements). I'm now packing to head out to WarGamesCon in Austin, Texas, where I'll be covering the 2012 Flames of War Early War Nationals on Friday and Saturday. I get home on Sunday. I'm sure I'll be exhausted after a lot of hard work and hard play, but it'll be less than a week to work on getting it all sorted, before the big in-store Armies On Parade day (June 30 here in the US).

Wish me luck!

Cheers
Dave

  1. That looks fantastic, I can't imagine that there will be anything to compete with it. Good luck for the comp though.

  4. Wow! You really pulled that together quickly, looks amazing. Good luck (I don't think you're going to need it though). Look forward to seeing it finished.

  6. Good luck Dave!

It's amazing of course and I know they are into death and all... but the Board to me feels like it needs a bit more colour?

Some bronze/brass on the roofs and creepers on the walls maybe?

If you have time of course!

    1. It does need some more color, hopefully on Monday I can get the Skullvane manse finished and start to make a few things pop.

    3. I hope that the finished results are an improvement. I'm pretty happy with the depth of tone, considering the particularly dark palette.

  13. Have fun, Dave, and good luck!

It appears your beautiful models have made their way into a pretty landmark edition of the US White Dwarf (not got the UK one yet) - so hearty congrats for that!
