On Saturday I was able to get out and play a game of
Killzone: Survival with my mate Marc Raley. It was cool to see our freshly painted models on the table, and Marc's Alpha Legion are, in my opinion, the best I've ever seen (for 30K or 40K).
Anyway, here are a few photos I took of the excellent game, but you can read a battle report over at Marc's blog
HERE.
Cheers
Dave
I'll have to check out this Titan Games place, I've been to most of the game shops near Baltimore, but I've never heard of them!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely a cool shop. When you drop by, tell Kurt I said "Hi".
DeleteThose Alpha Legion dudes really are the Chaoshound's spiky testicles.
ReplyDeleteYes, they are indeed excellent!
DeleteYou actually took the time to play a game of 40k rather than boast about your crushing defeat of Yan Lo and his minions!?!?!
ReplyDeleteActually, looks like an amazing game!
Vale,
JohnS
I have to spread he love around John ; )
DeleteBut hey, winning two games in one week IS some kind of record for me.
Wonderful! I've been drooling over Marc's Alpha Legion over on the heresy 30k forums, and I can't imagine that between your force and his that there was a finer-painted game being played anywhere in the world that day! Thanks for sharing the pics!
ReplyDeleteHaha, thanks for that M7th. Not sure how true that is, but it's nice to hear anyway ; )
DeleteThanks again for the game, sir!
ReplyDeleteThis looks like a fun and immersive scenario. Part of the appeal of tabletop gaming is how players can combine strategy, creativity, and storytelling to create memorable experiences that go beyond simply winning or losing. That same sense of engagement is one reason gaming remains popular across different formats today, from tabletop battles to mobile games. People are often drawn to experiences that are easy to access, enjoyable to learn, and offer a variety of ways to stay entertained. No matter the platform, game tend to be most enjoyable when they encourage interaction, exploration, and a bit of strategic thinking.
