Red Robes Galore!

Just a quick update for today. My little servitors are all painted now, but as I type this I see that I missed photographing one of them (the one with the lens for a head). I guess I'll have to get a shot of him later on, when I'm back near my photo gear. As you've no doubt noticed on my plasma servitors, I've been messing around with some OSL. I've done the same here with the skull-holding servitor on the right, but using yellows rather than blues. I'm taking a class at Adepticon in April, so I wanted to have a few models that could be critiqued ready to go.

But otherwise, I hope you enjoy these little margin-fillers ; )

Cheers
Dave

  1. Hey Dave,

Great paintjobs as usual. I really dig the conversions and models in general.

  2. Stop! Just stop! You're posting too many great ideas for me to want to do! :)

Bad humor aside, great work! I've started keeping an eye on eBay for cheap Night Goblins after seeing your first round of conversions using these guys, and now I'm starting to look at other Fantasy bits and go "how *could* this be converted into something Inquisitorial?"

  3. I love the paint job you're doing on these Dave. Gotta say, I expected them to be a little darker in tone but I'm a sucker for cleanly painted, deep reds.

Looking forward to seeing the rest.

  4. I think awhile back you mentioned you 'might' be using the new chaos marine dex for count as rules, is that still the idea? If so do you have allies?

I myself have been tinkering around with IG with GK allies, for an Ad-Mech list.

Anyways keep up the great work!

    1. Hi Matt

I haven't really looked at fielding them yet, but I suspect for what I have that CSM with IG allies will be the best for for my models. I do think, however, that the AdMech can be represented so many ways.

  5. Those are some creepy little dudes! There is a mechanical cherub in the fantasy range that would look right at home with these guys.
