Enough of the puns, it's Crunch Time!
All of ten the Knights of Morr are finished.
And just minutes before this post I finished off another four spearmen, meaning 27 are complete. Twenty-three are shown in the photos here.
The final three are the command group. Any thoughts on the iconography for the banner? I'm sure I'll use one of the mottos that have already been submitted, but I just need to nail down what I'll paint on that black square ; )
Cheers
Dave

ReplyDeleteThese models are awesome! Great job.
ReplyDeleteVery nice.
ReplyDeleteYou are really gifted. Your models are amazing. A tiny thought on the iconografy of the banner: because the whole army has dark colours and a death atmosphere, maybe a flag with something bright and vivid on it would be a nice contrast. A young lady perhaps!
ReplyDeleteLove those spearmen!!
ReplyDeletePhenomenal! A real treat to follow this project.
ReplyDeleteAwesome work, Dave.
ReplyDeleteMy instinct would be to recommend a rose on the banner, because that ties in with Morr.
Either way, these are fantastic figures. I love the crow-masks, which would be perfect for a 40k Chaos Cult. In fact, there's a bit in Eisenhorn where he is assaulted by a group of mercenaries all wearing carnival masks.
Just wonderful, really, really wonderful!
ReplyDeleteReally? No Morr puns?
ReplyDeleteSorry Steve, I just couldn't do it. I have two more weeks, so maybe I'll get back in the swing of things.
DeleteDid you sculpt the masks yourself? They look amazing. The completed army will be scary to be facing across the board.
ReplyDeleteGreat job! Amazing!
