So, my Legio Custodes has finally made it onto the mighty eBay auction site. While I was assured by friends that selling on eBay was incredibly easy, I must admit for a first timer (and Luddite) like myself, it was nowhere near as intuitive as I had hoped.
The auction can be found here!
Anyway, the auction is running now, and will conclude in ten days, on Sunday October 10, at 11:12 pm for my European bidders, 10:12 pm for my UK bidders, 5:12pm for my East Coast US bidders, and 2:12 pm for my West Coast US bidders.
Bid high, and bid often ; )
Cheers
Dave
Good Luck with the Auction. I wish I had the funds to walk up and hand you $4000 for it, but alas I do not. Regardless, I know it's going for a good cause and I hope you get plenty for the army. It truly a stunning work.
ReplyDeleteGreat army, great cause, bid already.
ReplyDeleteLet hope the army raises some decent money!
ReplyDeleteHoly Sh*t, already over 1000$!
ReplyDeleteBest look!
Yeah, I'd love to bid, but it is way past my ability to pay now.
ReplyDeleteSaw it already broke $1100 grats dave. GL on this and I hope it does well.
ReplyDeleteHey,
ReplyDeletejust put it up my blog, hope that's fine.
I always like to help a good cause.
Wish you all the best on the auction Dave and very sorry to hear about your two mates...best wishes!
ReplyDeleteMan, I remember seeing this beauty way back in White Dwarf a few years ago. Good luck on the auction (I don't have anywhere near what this masterpiece deserves to bid) and hopefully it's enough!
ReplyDeleteWhen I first got into Warhammer 40k years ago I remember seeing this army in White Dwarf magazine. It was probably about 3-4 months after I started building the models.
ReplyDeleteThis army along with the ad-mech army you did were the 2 that inspired me to do so much of the conversion work that became a staple of all my minis afterward.
It's really a great thing that this labor of love will be used to help out friends in need.
