It has been two weeks since AdeptiCon and I'm not sure I've had a chance to breathe since then. April is shaping up to be my busiest month ever! Anyway, I promised you good folks some photos of my Warlord - Domitor Fortis, Warlord of Legio Crucius - and here it is. I hope you like them.
I just realized I didn't take any detailed photos of the base. I'll get that done when I take some photos of the banner I'm working on for this beast : )
Cheers
Dave
One of the highlights, and most terrifying parts of adepticon, was holding the pieces of this beautiful warlord :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Greg! Glad you enjoyed/were terrified by that part ; ) Can you send me the photo of Andrew holding the torso?
DeleteBeautiful work Dave, well done fella. Inspirational and lovely to see
ReplyDeleteThanks, Siph. Are you close to finishing your's up?

ReplyDeleteHow did he perform at Adepticon?
Thanks, mate! At the show he did pretty well in the Adrptus Titanicus game. He managed to take down another Warlord : )
DeleteExcellent news! Looks like you need to add another kill marking!!
DeleteLooks absolutely superb!
ReplyDeleteBtw...thanks for pointing Patrick Keith in my direction. I got a lovely box of Counterblast goodies in the post yesterday. Lovely sculpts and right up my street!
Thanks, mate! And no worries. There are a couple of blogs I follow, including yours, that seem to be a really good fit with Counterblast. I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with it all : )
DeleteFantastic work, it's a really striking colour scheme!
ReplyDeleteDave, it was a blast watching your progress. Your hard work paid off in a most impressive Warlord. I'm going back and watching your videos again as I get started so I hope you don't mind if I "borrow" some ideas ;)
ReplyDeleteHoly sh*t. That came out all kinds of nice!
ReplyDeleteFantastic work, I love the trench line on the base. The colour scheme is cool.
ReplyDeleteJaw dropping! Thanks for sharing your progress, it has been so inspiring.
ReplyDeleteI'm always amazed at how small the bridge actually is. Titanicus makes it sound palatial.
