The idea of paint sticks has been around for a long time, I only jumped on it recently for my Napoleonic figures. It works well for when you are mounting multiple figures on each base. A little bit of getting used to but not too many hassles.
@MWC - I have seen your blog and your Pay It Forward campaign. You sir, are a true testament to resilience and a positive attitude. My commiserations for your losses and my best wishes for your future. If you need to get in touch privately, my email address is just to the right at the bottom of my "profile" section.

Cheers
Davedavetaylorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08137502467601937229noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2469017760558244027.post-23460593526052807572011-02-20T08:30:48.002-08:002011-02-20T08:30:48.002-08:00Wow! Ive actually been doing a program very similar called pay it forward. Its a program where ive been giving out free give away items to random people in the community. While my reasoning for starting the program was started out of the death of my wife due to stomach cancer last thanksgiving, its now turned into something i know she would be proud of. Ive run it 2 other times with this being the third running. Its been a great way to bring people together.

Not to troll but if your interested in reading more (and im not sure how to message you privately) you can read about it here:

http://miniaturewargameconversions.blogspot.com/2011/02/current-pay-it-forward-prizes-and-info.htmlMWChttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17976190962414540854noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2469017760558244027.post-75578614402166483362011-02-19T13:43:05.579-08:002011-02-19T13:43:05.579-08:00Very nice once again. Is it just a piece of wood or scrap plasticard? How are the figures temporarily attached? Just a dab of super glue? Does it make painting at all awkward to have multiple figures mounted that way?

Thanks much!Alexhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11842302990259056839noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2469017760558244027.post-52825854245998058972011-02-18T19:54:29.380-08:002011-02-18T19:54:29.380-08:00I think this is a great idea and I will be coming ...I think this is a great idea and I will be coming back often to see what I can help with.Meatballhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18392265613551149975noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2469017760558244027.post-31527481008053296162011-02-18T18:27:21.425-08:002011-02-18T18:27:21.425-08:00Thanks Dave, I appreciate your helping in getting ...Thanks Dave, I appreciate your helping in getting the word out there.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
