I grabbed a few minutes over the busy weekend and put together this video on how the almost-complete Warlord Titan is looking now! There are a few more magnets in the head and on the arms. The arms and weapons are pinned into place, and I can now start priming the pieces : )
Cheers
Dave
Excellent stuff Dave, I've magnetised the head cover too. How are you going to stop the weapons in the arms drooping? I'm thinking a magnet in the arm slot and on the top of the weapon joining cog.
ReplyDeleteAt the moment, I want the right weapon to "droop" and the left to hang horizontally. They're both co-operating with me so far. If I was to magnetize them, then I think I'd go with the locations you've described.
DeleteGreat stuff. Learning a lot watching your build. I tend to paint as I build so its in sections but seeing it all together is impressive. My Warlord is resting nicely under my desk, I'm guessing March before I start so I can't wait to see your painting videos.
ReplyDeleteMy biggest piece of advice is "Give yourself plenty of time. There'll be some stages that you just need to sit back and approach it from a different angle. All the best : )
DeleteI can't wait to see you work you paint magic!
ReplyDeleteVery impressive !
